DID YOU KNOW? VFC has operated as a non-profit business since 1987. We use all revenues earned from membership/drop in sales to run our programs and invest in new equipment, facility upkeep for the health and wellness of our community and visitors.

GOALS: We have long outgrown our space and are currently working with the District of Invermere to secure land so that we may build for you a new and improved VFC! This 5.5 million dollar recreation centre ( over 15,000 square feet ) will include a much larger weight room , cardio and stretching mezzanine, climbing wall, spin studio, a double sized aerobics studio which doubles as a basketball court, a fantastic smoothie bar and private studio/offices to rent.

How to Find Us

Head south on main street Invermere (7th Avenue). Near the end, you will turn right onto 14th Street. We are located halfway down the block, behind the Best Western parking lot.

My life has been greatly enhanced in several ways. I have been attending the Valley Fitness Centre for more than 2 years on a regular schedule. I am a middle-aged woman and I have never taken the time to go to the gym or thought it was necessary. I now realize how much more I value and appreciate my body and spirit. I had a lack of energy, mobility issues, stress and the list go on. Since my first day I have never looked back at my decision to take control of my health and body. Today, I am experiencing better night's sleep, high levels of energy, range of mobility has increased along with greater endurance and so much more. the staff are extremely helpful, very supportive and kind. The members are one big gym fitness family, no one judges you, everyone works at their own pace and are very supportive. The facility is very clean, the staff are doing an outstanding job on sanitizing following provincial guidelines keeping all of us safe.
I am so filled with joy that the Valley Fitness Centre has been able to remain open for as long as it has during the pandemic. I was very intrigued to see all the changes that the Centre installed and modified to satisfy the parameters placed on it by the province. The changes were well thought out and have made the Centre a safe and healthy place to work out. The addition of the disinfectant apparatus has instilled in all members a feeling of hope that the Centre will continue to operate. Seeing those smiling faces upon entering immediately changes one's outlook. Daily/Weekly exercise, I feel, is a necessity for positive mental health.
